Is this a signal service?
No. StratVigil only checks the rules you define and tells you when they are met on closed candles. It does not recommend trades.
Does it place trades?
No. There is no broker connection. An "entry alert" is a notification.
Why closed candles?
A forming candle can change until it closes. Using only closed candles means an alert never disappears afterwards.
What if I edit a running strategy?
Saving creates a new version. Running scanners move to it when you activate again; earlier alerts keep the version they came from.
What happens if the server misses a few minutes?
On the next run it catches up. Anything found for candles that closed meanwhile is stored and labelled "found on catch-up", not pushed as new.
Can I use concepts that are not listed?
Ask the AI assistant: it will try to express your idea with supported concepts and tell you exactly how; otherwise it records the request for the team.
Is my strategy private?
Yes. Research use is a separate opt-in that you can change at any time.
